David Lightfoot
With well over 30 years in the industry, award-winning Australian film producer David Lightfoot is one of the most experienced and widely regarded production executives in the country. David has over 80 long form credits to his name, including the highly successful 2005 horror/thriller “Wolf Creek” which premiered at Sundance World Cinema and Cannes Directors Fortnight (2005) and earned over 7 times its budget in sales; the Weinstein Company’s $30M action/thriller “Rogue” (2007), written and directed by Greg McLean; Rupert Glasson’s thriller “Coffin Rock” (2009); and most recently the major cast-led ‘Never Too Late’ featuring Jack Thomson, Jacki Weaver, Shane Jacobson, James Cromwell of ‘Babe' and ‘The Green Mile’ and iconic British Television Star, Dennis Waterman of ‘The Sweeney’, ‘Minder’ and ‘New Tricks’ fame.
David was also Production Supervisor/Associate Producer of “Bad Boy Bubby” (1994); Producer of the mini-series “Three Forever” (1996), an Australian-Italian co-production; Producer of “Spank” (1998); Co-Producer and Line Producer of “The Sound of One Hand Clapping” (1997); Consulting Producer of “Innocence” (2000) and Line Producer of “Japanese Story” (2003), among many others.

Sabella Sugar
Sabella is a principal at Ultrafilms Pty Ltd. She was Co-Executive Producer on the recently completed 'Never Too Late'. Directed by Mark Lamprell, it features screen veterans Jacki Weaver, Jack Thompson and James Cromwell, and is listed as one of 9 best films to watch in 2020. Ultrafilms currently have a number of projects in development scheduled for production early 2021, in which she is heavily involved.
Sabella is a Company Director of Strategic Film Distribution. Through their unique platform and technology, Strategic Film Distribution provides a number of services including online targeted marketing campaigns for films. Their technology uses emotional intelligence testing, providing in-depth market reports and analysis on audience market testing for films and trailers prior to release and enabling producers to gain valuable insights as to the effectiveness of their campaign.
Sabella previously has a background in the financial services industry, spending over 8 years working with an AFSL registered share market advisory service. During this time she presented and produced the daily market update reports. Aside from the film industry Sabella is passionate about community and giving back. She is an advocate for women to speak up against domestic violence, and sits on the board of not for profit organisation @myredflags.
